My Project

These specific items I am requesting will help give my students learning opportunities. Students will have a “hands on” experience with math – allowing them to process and deepen their thinking of the mathematical concept or procedure being taught. Having the resources and tools, students will be able to learn from the teacher and demonstrate their thinking and learning. Students using the manipulatives and tools will begin to learn with and from their peers, deepening their knowledge level. I feel that with the correct materials, tools, and new math program, my students will be able to thrive and enhance their learning and understanding of mathematical concepts and procedures.

This opportunity will allow my students the chance to feel successful in the classroom and challenge themselves to grow as mathematicians.

They will feel supported in their learning and learning styles because of the resources and tools that will be provided by this generous grant.
