I teach in Baltimore City which is located in the state of Maryland. Our school buildings will be closed for the remainder of the 2019-20 school year. We are currently having virtual classes on Zoom and I also teach lessons through YouTube!
My Project
This distance learning project will enhance the learning experience of my students even though we are apart. They will receive paint, paper, books to read for pleasure, a workbook to help with reading comprehension, and a dry erase marker to use when completing assignments for class! We will also receive a butterfly nursery that I will use at home to begin including science lessons into our online curriculum. Students will be able to learn about insects and the lifestyle of a butterfly! We will integrate art, writing, and science as we explore the life of a butterfly!
