Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Learning is a life long journey. Learning should be interactive and connected to real-world situations. My students cannot relate to this, since there are technological limitations in my classroom.
Our school is located in a low social economic area.
Many of the students are on free and reduce lunch. They also cannot relate to using technology at home, since most students do not have access. My students are loving and eager to learn. They love to be engaged with the use of hands on activities.
My Project
The Tablets will enhance student learning with the use of learning applications that our reading series provides. The LCD projector will allow me to present the reading and math instruction during whole group learning. Time For Kids will allow students to make text-to-world connects while enhancing the social studies curriculum.
My goal as an educator is to make sure my student fall in love with learning.
Having technology available in the classroom will motivate my students to become life long learners who can connect to real-world situations.
