Enhancing Technology and Creativity in the Classroom

My students need Chromebooks to increase math fluency skills and research science topics. We have online resources, but only have two computers within the classroom for student usage.

My Students

Our district is in a very rural area, and is very small. Our district enrolls approximately 600 students K-12. This makes for very small class sizes, which makes it very easy to really focus on students, community, and education. Being so small has advantages and disadvantages, but the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.

The main disadvantage is the lack of funding and resources our students receive due to our size.

These students give 100%, but lack technological resources to enrich learning.

My Project

My students have been learning content in math and science classes that they would like to explore and learn about through technology and online resources. Unfortunately, they only have access to two classroom computers. These students are so creative and technologically advanced, but the lack of technology has slowed their ability to express themselves in various applications that involve technology.

My students would love to advance their learning with Chromebooks for the classroom.

They are very grateful for anything they receive, and are well deserving of your kindness. Thank you in advance for considering my students and their education.
