This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The resources that I am requesting will allow me to have a variety of resources to use to teach my scholars. Many of my scholars struggle with figurative language, context clues, and comprehension. It is my goal to use these resources to support the standards aligned instruction that I provide to my students on a daily basis. These resources will only help my students get better over time. My students are special to me because they are resilient. Many of them face economic challenges on a daily basis that can cause them to give up but they show up every day and give their best. They are so deserving.
