This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love that my students bring energy, creativity, and curiosity to every physical education class. They are eager to try new things, support one another, and push themselves to improve—not just physically, but in teamwork and confidence as well. What makes them special is their resilience and their willingness to engage when learning feels fun and inclusive.

Each resource in the "Enhancing Student Fitness Through Innovative PE Equipment Design" project is carefully chosen to meet their diverse needs.

For example, adaptive and interactive equipment allows students of all abilities and skill levels to participate fully. Balance tools, agility kits, and movement-based games will improve motor skills, coordination, and cardiovascular health—all while making PE feel more like play than work. These tools encourage collaboration, spark friendly competition, and keep students moving in ways that are both educational and exciting. Ultimately, the right equipment will turn every class into an opportunity for growth, confidence-building, and lifelong fitness habits.
