This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Hands-on art activities are some of the most impactful for young learners. Painting, photography, and 3D art are ways young learners can express their creativity and work on regulating their emotions.
With your support, I can enhance my STEM curricula with materials to create 3D visual arts, paving the way for my students to put the art in STEAM!
Materials like canvas, digital cameras, and tissue craft paper (among other materials) will engage my student in higher-order thinking, planning, and the execution of thought-provoking projects. These materials also engage young learners with hands-on process art (because sometimes the best plan is not having a plan).
