My Project

Our school aims to provide inclusive activities for all students during recess. These activities will promote teamwork, social skills, and problem solving. Additionally, these resources will benefit all 441 students in our elementary school, from UPK through fifth grade, including students with disabilities. Our goal is to ensure that every child has access to engaging and inclusive play options.

Adding different activities to recess will give students a chance to build important skills while having fun.

Catching games will help them with hand-eye coordination, and using nets and balls for team sports will encourage teamwork and collaboration. Games like Jenga, checkers, tic-tac-toe, and dice will also give students a fun way to practice problem-solving. By offering a mix of activities, we can make recess more inclusive and enjoyable for everyone while helping kids grow socially, physically, and mentally.
