This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students are in need of a flexible learning environment to use as part of a classroom economy system in our room. Currently, my students only have access to a very limit amount of flexible seating and can use a more comfortable space to learn and grow from. As part of a classroom economy system and a way of teaching students financial responsibility, the flexibility in our class will allow students to learn the importance of using their classroom money wisely while also utilizing their classroom space to conduct their most important learning and thinking. The "rental" of these flexible seats in our learning arena will be beneficial in helping me teach students how to spend money wisely and to differentiate between needs and wants.
