My students need googly eyes for their biographies, and paint for their Social Studies community crafts to help enhance their learning.

My Students
I have 20 amazing students this school year who are eager to learn and discover. In order to enhance all of the lessons taught, I like to create crafts that correlate with the topics taught.
Imagine 20 smart, creative first graders in a Title One school.
They have imaginations beyond the limit and love to show off their work. However, due to budget and limited resources, we cannot always do as much as we would like. I want to explore the world and stars with these children and need the supplies to do so.
My Project
In First Grade, we do many activities for learning all about the world around us...through Math, Reading, Writing, Science and Social Studies. In order to expand the learning taught, activities and crafts will help these students show their classmates, friends and families all that they have acquired. By using paint and other artistic mediums, we will be able to showcase all we have learned. We will be able to use these supplies to further create artistic ways of learning, beyond the Common Core.
By creating crafts that go along with the lessons learned, the students will be able to tell in their own words and design what they have learned.
They will be proud of all they have done and learned. Students will be able to not only draw using their crayons in class, but create wonderful masterpieces using paint, googly eyes and other materials.
