This project would enhance our classroom environment by providing new STEM activities for students to express their creativity in a climate that is welcoming to all students. I would love to have a utility cart in my classroom to organize station activities and move around to different locations in the classroom. I want my classroom climate to be organized and functional. My project includes privacy folders for each student so they may focus on their own work and not be distracted when working at their tables.
Creating a classroom environment that is comfortable and welcoming will help students have a love for learning.
These new STEM activities will be exciting and also help with their fine motor skills. Building and using their hands will help students developmentally and help with their handwriting. Displaying books in our classroom that are geared towards my students' interests will provide familiarity and motivate the students to want to learn to read! The lighting in my classroom will be comfortable to create a welcoming and calming atmosphere!
