My Project
Our classroom currently faces a shortage of visual math manipulatives that can be displayed and modeled effectively on the board. Many students struggle with abstract math concepts, and large-scale visual materials can bridge this gap. I am requesting Jumbo Magnetic Unit Circles, Jumbo Magnetic Foam Place Value Disks, and Jumbo Magnetic Double-Sided Fraction Tiles. By integrating these resources, we can create a more dynamic learning environment that caters to visual and auditory learners alike.
If funded, these supplies will be integrated into our daily math instruction.
Students will participate in visual demonstrations and interactive discussions to deepen their understanding of key math concepts. Small group instruction and whole-class activities will utilize these resources to foster collaborative learning. Additionally, we will assess student progress through formative assessments and adjust our strategies to ensure each child succeeds.
