I need texts that support my professional development as a Reading Intervention Teacher.

My Project
I am writing to request your support for my professional development as a Reading Intervention Teacher. I am committed to helping students succeed in reading, especially those struggling with dyslexia. To enhance my knowledge and teaching strategies, I am seeking funding to acquire professional textbooks focused on dyslexia and the Science of Reading.
As a Reading Intervention Teacher, I work with students facing significant challenges in reading, including those diagnosed with dyslexia.
This learning difference affects their ability to decode and comprehend text, and I am dedicated to providing tailored support to help them overcome these challenges. The Science of Reading is a research-backed approach that focuses on the essential components of reading, including phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. By deepening my understanding of this approach, I can provide more effective, evidence-based interventions for my students.
The textbooks I am requesting will equip me with valuable knowledge about dyslexia and proven literacy practices. With this expertise, I will be able to support my students more effectively, empower fellow teachers by sharing best practices, and contribute to a stronger literacy program at my school.
Your generous donation will directly impact my students’ literacy development and improve our school’s overall approach to teaching reading. By enhancing my professional skills, I will be better equipped to help all students, particularly those with dyslexia, thrive as confident readers.
Thank you for considering my request and for supporting educators dedicated to making a lasting difference in students' lives.
