My Students

I am blessed to work with a wonderful group of students. They brighten my day with their willingness to attend and learn at school.

My students are hard workers that put forth the effort to succeed.

My classroom is made up of various learning levels and styles. I have students that struggle to decode words and students that read above grade level. I enjoy learning from the different personalities in the classroom. Each student comes with his or her own background experiences and story to tell.

My Project

I am requesting funding for the once in a lifetime opportunity to attend the Get Your Teach On University in Nashville, TN. This is a chance to be a student in some of the country's most influential teachers' classroom. The conference will allow me to gain new strategies and ideas to take back and implement in my classroom. I will also be able to share these with my colleagues.

I want to ignite a passion in students for learning in the classroom.

I believe this conference will help me teach students how to step outside their comfort zones and push the limits to discover how extraordinary learning can be.
