Enhancing Learning for Special Needs Students Through Noise Sensory Reduction
Help me give my students more focus and classroom participation by providing noise cancelling headphones. This helps with fostering the emotional well being of my students by reducing sensory induced stress.

My Project
All students deserve to have a wonderful learning experience. Unfortunately, that is sometimes not the case with my special needs students. Many of them suffer from multiple and severe disabilities, often leading to sensory processing issues and overstimulation. As a result, they often experience heightened sensitivity to sounds in their overall environment, especially while in school and social environments.
This leads to discomfort, anxiety, difficulties with concentration, and sometimes behavior issues.
Many of my students find it difficult to acclimate and work in noisy classroom environments, during transitions, group work, or in busy open spaces such as the cafeteria or the auditorium.
The goal for this project is to provide noise-cancelling headphones that can be used with with the different students that I work with. Many of my students are either on the autism spectrum, or have cognitive, or emotional disorders. These headphones will be used to enhance learning and engagement by reducing distracting noises and overstimulating sensory inputs around them.
Please help me, by making this goal of mine a reality for my students!
