My Project
Dear Donors,
Welcome to our library, a place where every student's voice is heard and celebrated!
I serve a diverse group of 625 students, mostly Title I and not native English speakers, who are eager to learn and grow. My goal is to create a welcoming environment where all students feel valued and empowered to explore the world through books and activities.
I am requesting funding for materials that will enhance student engagement and organization in our library. This includes a display stands for showcasing student work, which is a great source of pride for our students. Additionally, I am requesting resources to organize folders for 10 more of my 25 library classes, ensuring that all students have access to the materials they need.
The display stands will be used to showcase student work, writing projects, and book recommendations. Students will take pride in seeing their work displayed and will be inspired to create more. The folder organizers will be used to store and organize library materials for different classes. This will make it easier for students to find books and resources related to their current projects or interests. The clicker for mini-lessons will allow me to move around the library and engage with students during read-alouds and discussions. This will create a more interactive and dynamic learning environment.
My students are special because of their diversity, resilience, and enthusiasm for learning. They come from different backgrounds and speak different languages, but they share a common passion for exploring new ideas and stories.
