it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My TK students have the greatest imaginations! The addition of puppets and a puppet theater in our classroom will enhance their langauage skills through their imaginative play. Puppetry will support students' collaboration with their peers as they work together to create scenarios to perform. The students will be able to visit the puppet area in our class daily during their center time.
The goals of the puppet area are to increase language and social skills.
I will obseve the students daily as they create and perform. I will also engage in play-based conferences to gain insight into their thinking and reasoning.
