Enhancing Effective Student Evacuation Procedures

My Project

I work in a school with about 900 students. The students in my school range in age from 5 to 12 years old I am currently the lead of the safety team for the school. This means that I am always thinking of how to make sure that all 900 plus students and faculty in my school are kept as safe as possible.

Evacuation of the school in the event of an emergency is something that I am working to better prepare our school for.

These wagons will help aide all of our teachers in each grade level in getting supplies out of the building quickly and effectively. Wagons will contain up to 10 gallons of drinking water, cups and snacks as well as activities for students to do. In the event we have to evacuate our students to a secondary location to be reunited with their parents we want to make sure that we have basic supplies and an easy way to transport them.
