Head Start is for low-income families that want their children in a safe and fun educational setting. The children and their families are growing up in an urban setting. At Head Start, children are learning school readiness goals, both socially and academically.
My Head Start classroom is a place where children learn by doing.
Children range in ages from three to five. The children in my classroom are excited to learn and explore! The children love when new toys are introduced into the classroom.
My Project
The toys I have listed will be used to enhance creative play. These toys will give the children a variety of toys to choose from during their free play time. I have selected toys to cover a wide range of play areas. The block area, dramatic play area, water play, and the art area will all be enhanced if you found this project.
Imagine the fun the children will have in the dramatic play area!
There are a variety of new baby dolls that have been selected. Also the stainless steel pots and pans, cookie counters, and sorting shapes cupcakes will support learning and fun at the same time. The children will enjoy using the doll house family sets in our wooden doll house. The first friends set will allow the children to engage in family role play in the block area.
I have also selected water play toys. The color play penguins will teach classification skills and the ocean animals will build on scientific knowledge. Please note that your donations will bring tons of joy and smiles to many preschool classes in the years to come.
