This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
After teaching 5th grade for over 20 years, I am moving up to 6th grade in the fall. Years of building ideas and curriculum in the 5th grade will not be as useful anymore. So I need to acquire new ideas and fresh projects to enhance my teaching in a new grade!
I need resources to make learning more engaging in the 6th grade.
Math in 6th grade emphasizes different topics like ratios and percents. I need new resources and strategies to teach these topics. In 5th grade, it was all about American history, but in 6th grade, the social studies curriculum is world civilizations.
Please help out a veteran teacher who needs new ideas, new lessons, and new projects to support and engage my future 6th graders!
