This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school is unique in that it is the only museum school in Chicago. We have partnerships with various museums. Our goal is to make the city an extension of our classrooms.
This school year we will work on creating a sense of community by beginning with a reflection on who they are and what they can contribute to our school community.
The students are eager to learn and excited about the upcoming school year. I am excited for them in that they will begin to use technology for personalized learning.
My Project
This school year the school is going one-one with technology for the middle grades. The emphasis will be on personalized learning and getting the students to set goals and achieve them throughout the year. It will be a very new and exciting experience.
These materials will allow for the students to navigate the technology and be accountable for the care of their laptops.
Having a mouse makes navigating the Internet much easier and the sleeves will protect their laptops.
I am so excited to where the personalized learning will go for the students and am ready for the challenges and successes!
