My Project

My students and I are passionate about capturing the beauty of our surroundings through photography. With the addition of ND filters, we will be able to take stunning outdoor photos, even in bright sunlight, and enhance our learning experience.

At our Title I school on the East Side of San Jose, our students have a strong interest in photography and multimedia, and while we recently acquired a Sony a6400 camera which has significantly boosted our ability to capture high-quality images and videos, to truly excel in outdoor photography, especially under the bright California sun, and to effectively explore themes of social justice and mental health, we need ND filters for our lenses.

ND filters are essential tools for photographers. They help reduce the amount of light entering the lens, allowing for more creative control over exposure and aperture settings. With these filters, my students will be able to take clear, vibrant photos without overexposure, even in the brightest conditions.

We specifically need 77mm and 82mm ND filters to fit our Sony lenses. These filters will allow us to explore various photography techniques, such as long-exposure shots and depth-of-field effects, enhancing our overall learning and creativity.

Help me give my students ND filters for our Sony lenses so they can improve their outdoor photography skills and take high-quality photos in bright sunlight. By funding this project, you will help my students develop their photography skills and gain hands-on experience with professional equipment. These ND filters will not only improve the quality of our outdoor photos but also support our ongoing projects focused on mental health and social justice, inspiring students to use photography as a tool for positive change.
