This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
These storage/organization items will continue to enhance my students' organizational skills, which we have been working on throughout the year. With these items, everything will have its place making it easy for students to find supplies, center activities, and other materials needed without wasting instructional time searching for where they might be. Students will know where to turn in assignments with the paper tray organizer, where to store their personal notebooks and folders with their own chair pockets, know their group assignments with the pocket chart for classroom Grouping, and grab their baskets or photo cases for their task cards or materials. For independent or partner work, most students love to work anywhere but their desks, the clipboard storage will make it easy for them to grab and store clipboards and then grab a leaf rocker chair and get started with their learning rather than spending time deciding where to sit and where their clipboard is.
These organization items will enhance student learning by limiting the amount of time spent searching for their belongings and materials, ultimately giving them more time to learn!
