My Students
My students are the best! They come from difficult home lives and look forward to being at school. They come to school everyday excited and ready to learn, and continuously put forth their best effort on a daily basis.
My students have a variety of learning styles and needs, and they benefit from working hands-on in small groups.
They love to learn and explore new topics and ideas. They enjoy doing projects and activities that require them to move around the room. My co-teacher and I use flexible seating, allowing our students opportunities to get up from their desks and work in areas around the classroom.
My students work hard everyday and constantly inspire me. They persevere through challenges and adversities whether they are academic or personal. They show kindness and respect toward one another. They deserve the best opportunities in their education. I work hard everyday to provide them with these opportunities.
My Project
Teachers Pay Teachers is an amazing website where teachers from all around the country can share engaging, interactive, and rigorous resources to encourage academic success. With remote learning still impacting the current school year, providing my students with access to these types of resources will help lessen the stress and difficulty of learning at home during these already stressful times.
This transition has been hardest on students, particularly my students with special needs.
While I will continue to go above and beyond to do everything in my power to deliver effective instruction remotely, utilizing the resources shared on TPT will help tremendously.
