This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach French to a diverse and enthusiastic group of middle school students, many of whom are learning the language for the first time. While their curiosity is strong, they face challenges due to limited access to reliable translation tools—especially when devices aren't available or permitted in class. To support their growth and independence, I’m requesting 30 student-friendly French-to-English dictionaries so each student in my largest class can have one during lessons.

These dictionaries will help students build vocabulary, understand grammar, and translate unfamiliar words accurately without over-relying on online translators.

They’ll also foster confidence, promote active learning, and ensure all students have equal access to a consistent learning resource. With your support, we can equip our classroom with essential tools that empower students to grow as global citizens and passionate language learners. Merci beaucoup for making a difference!
