My Project
My students love to read, however they are learning to read, write and speak English at the same time as learning their grade curriculum for ELA. I have found that providing students with reference texts and workbooks encourage students to be more participatory in our class discussions. We often refer to these types of books to help deepen understanding of the english language and the current lessons. These reference materials give students more reading time, understanding and enthusiasm about our curriculum topics which provides for a more enjoyable and educational experience.
