Help me give my students snacks from around the world, as well as a map and books to help us learn more about our world.

My Project

Our lovely English Learner students come from different places around the world, and they are very proud of their home cultures and their food!

Middle schoolers LOVE food, and what better way to have cross-cultural connections than through snacks and sweets?

The international snack boxes will allow students to share with others a small tidbit about their home country.

Food always creates wonderful bridges and discussions and I would love for students to see the inclusiveness of snacks from around the world. Along with having snacks to share from their home countries, I have chosen other assortment boxes from different parts of the world. We will be able to locate where those snacks originate on the map, and research to learn a little bit about those places.

I am so excited about the possible opportunity to integrate this project into my classes this school year!
