We are committed to equipping our English Language Learners (ELL) for STEM by building a solid foundation in mathematics concepts. Our students will become fluent in place value concepts and operations with fractions/decimals through hands-on activities.
These concrete learning aids will allow students to build conceptual understanding.
The equivalent fraction/decimal towers, fraction/decimal/percent circles, and place value disks will ensure that our students master and retain key math concepts necessary for real-world STEM activities. All of these resources will help our English Learner students get the tools that need for critical foundational math topics.
