English Language Learners

My students need English language based activities to improve their second language abilities.

My Students

My preschool students are ESL learners. We have a mixed age group of 3 and 4 year olds. My students are amazing and they love to learn about anything. They are the most generous and thoughtful children I know. They are always smiling and love to give hugs. My students are very helpful to the teachers and their classmates. The first thing they do when they come in the classroom in the morning is smile. My students are amazing and smart!

My Project

My students second language is English. Some children come in the beginning of the school year only speaking Spanish. When they leave to go to Kindergarten, they are expected to know many aspects of the English language. The language packs will help me guide their parents with helping their children with the activities we do in the classroom.

My students are able to communicate in conversation very well in English but when it comes to rhyming, sounds, syllables, and grammar they have some difficulty with the comprehension.

We have small group and center time everyday and they will be used during this time. The language packs will greatly help my students and parents. With your donation you will help improve my students language skills.
