Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Many of my English Language Learners do not have enough supplies and materials at home to help them improve their English language development and reading comprehension. My students need ink cartridges to print their stories. They also need supplies such as reams of paper, bulletin board letters, border, and bulletin board paper for displaying student quality work.

Modeling fluent reading daily is a great way to help students improve their English language development and reading comprehension.

Providing my ELLs the ink cartridges to print their word lists will give them the necessary tools to work with at home and encourage them to want to read every day. Having the ink cartridges will allow students to print their word lists and stories for daily reading practice. Allowing my students to print their stories will help my students improve their reading comprehension and enhance their English vocabulary.
