My Students
My 400 + students hunger for the intrigue and curiosity that science and engineering stirs in their hearts. I have the honor of teaching students from Kindergarten to 5th grade, allowing them to experience science and engineering through hands on tools and deep dive learning. As a title I school, we are limited in our resources and in need of tools and manipulatives to help us learn. Providing such resources will give our children a chance to challenge their brains, collaborate with peers and build life-long skills to carry in life.
My Project
The STEAM projects that I requested will help boost motivation, excitement and creativity, skills that were challenging to cultivate during the remote school year. As students reenter the building and restart a new school year, they are looking forward to being engaged in their learning and developing their creativity once more.
Hands-on STEAM projects like pulleys, bridges pendulums and more will stimulate their hands and minds and allow them to be fully immersed in their learning experience.
They can collaborate, build, improvise and lead as they take on the tasks of working with these structures. They will grow in fields that can change our world.
