My Project

I teach in a low-income to middle-income school in northern Idaho. My students come from different backgrounds with differing levels of parental support. We have many at-risk students from struggling families, and we work hard to provide engaging learning to our impacted learners. Our students are creative, curious, and excited to learn.

We are creating the engineers of the future with design challenges!

They will learn about the scientific process while building houses and bridges and other structures. They will learn teamwork, communication skills, persistence, and trial and error while working to complete these challenges. Due to budget constraints in the state of Idaho, classroom teachers must find creative ways to supplement materials and supplies. Giving our students the best education and keeping learning fun and engaging is the goal!
