Help me give my students Magna-Tile sets for out STEAM projects. This will help with science, math, and motor skills while they are having fun with their imagination. Engineers of the Future!!!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are from primarily spanish speaking low income families and need help with many skills. They are five years old and lack in social skills which leads to their low academic skills. Their imaginations are not developed and need creative things to broaden it as well. I want them to gain all of these skills before they leave Kindergarten to make them successful in years to come. MagnaTiles are a great resource for my students to use their imagination, social skills, and mathematics.
Imaginations make great engineers!
Think of Disneyland and other amusement parks. Without STEAM, students would not be able to problem solve with 21st century skills. MagnaTiles are great for this! These students are our future engineers and scientist. They need help building and strengthening their skills with hands on materials. My students would be able to use these materials to broaden their language, social, and academic skills.
