Engineers of the Future

My Students

Our school is mostly consist of free and reduce lunch students. We are a Charter school designed to help inner city students to become ready to go to college.

My students are the youngest in the building, and this is generally their first classroom experience, and we learn new things every day through play, and hands on exploration of materials in order to learn about the world around us, and how we are connected to that world in order to help change it.

My Project

These materials will allow my young students to be introduced to the world of science, engineering, and mathematics. These are hands-on age appropriate games and activities that will teach my student the foundations of 21 Century careers and to help better prepare them for the future job market.The wobble chairs will help develop large motor control because the children need to balance on them, and will allow students to have flexible seating that will help them better focus on the lessons given. These chairs will allow children to sit in various areas of the room which allows us to create an optimal learning environment for each student. The wobble chairs will also help children learn balance skills and strength core muscles that will help lead them to a more healthier lifestyle.

These items will help make all my student successfully and create foundational skills that will help my students gain skills to go that will lead them to college and successful careers.
