Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have the privilege of teaching many curious, clever, and creative students at my school. They are always seeking new ways to build with materials. My current classroom is not meeting the needs of these future engineers. These specific items, like building blocks and magnetic tiles, will give them the tools and outlet to imagine, build, and create. They will also provide students many opportunities to work with one another and work on their collaboration and critical thinking skills.
My goals for this project is to continue fostering curiosity and love for imagining and learning.
I am hoping to boost their creativity by providing them with more opportunities, especially at a STEAM school. Students will engage with science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics.
