This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love Science/STEM. Please help me expose my students to Lego Education Spike. Using Lego Education Spike will help my students become confident, life-long learners through unlimited possibilities for hands-on, playful STEM learning. My students deserve the opportunity to build independence, effective creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication and this Lego program allows them to do so.
My students are lifelong learners, with these resources, my students will be able to learn more about robotics, coding, problem-solving, and collaboration.
My students range from multi-language learners to special-education learners, but at the end of the day, they are wonderful students who are eager to learn. Our school is in East Harlem, which is considered a high-poverty inner-city urban area. Most of my students' parents immigrated to the United States to provide them with a great learning experience.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
