Help me give my students hands-on learning by using the Ultimate Guide to Domino Toppling and wooden dominos to build domino runs using the engineering design process.
Elementary students love to learn through hands-on exploration in the STEAM lab. What could be more engaging than learning about Newton's Laws of Motion by building domino runs?!
This project, Engineering Through Domino Runs, will provide students, kindergarten through 5th grade, wooden dominos to explore Newton's Laws of Motion through hands-on exploration and visual support using The Ultimate Guide to Domino Toppling.
My students will use the engineering design process to help facilitate their builds with a partner. Students will record videos of their domino runs to share with others to showcase Newton's Laws of Motion in their designs.
