My Students

Great ideas often are suppressed by lack of resources needed to follow through on them. Our students often come from low socioeconomic backgrounds with limited resources. This is reflected in the school, as well.

Our students are innovative, creative, and motivated thinkers and doers.

However, we often lack the equipment they need to fulfill their promising designs. Students are then forced to resort to less meaningful ways of completing assignments, creating a dry, bland version of something they imagined to be great.

My Project

I have recently started a 3D printing club/group and included 3D printing into my classes. The excitement of seeing their projects and designs come to life has been amazing to see. With your help, the enthusiasm can continue to grow.

The inclusion of 3D printing in school has helped students grow their engineering and design skills while also sparking their creativity.

To keep these rewarding projects going the supplies will need to be replenished and parts will have to be replaced.

This grant will allow me to keep supplies in stock and provide a part for one of the 3D printers that needs replacing.
