My Project

I plan to use the K'nex Kits to give students the opportunity to learn to build structures and explore with levers to make learning applicable to real life. Both skills are taught in our 4th grade standards using Next Generation Science Standards of Engineering and Energy.

A focus on College and Career development in engineering or trades such as carpentry, mechanics, or a lineman will be introduced to students as possible career options.

Native American students are underrepresented in these careers and it is my hope to expose students to a variety of career interests in preparation for the workforce.
