My Project
This project will allow my students to engage in hands-on learning through a "Buildings Unit," where they will explore structure, design, and construction concepts. By using concrete materials such as building blocks, measuring tools, and model construction kits, students will not only better understand how buildings are made but also apply math, science, and engineering skills in a meaningful and interactive way. We have limited access to physical building materials, which fully restricts our ability to implement a hands-on learning environment. We can purchase concrete learning tools such as wooden blocks, magnetic tiles, straws and connectors, architectural modeling kits, and other construction-related resources with donor support. These materials help transform abstract ideas into tangible experiences, deepening student understanding and retention. With your generous support, this Buildings Unit will become a dynamic and interactive learning experience supporting deeper understanding and sparking curiosity in young learners. Your contribution will provide materials and help shape a classroom where learning is active, meaningful, and fun.
