Help me give my students in PreK - 5th grade Lego Education sets to ignite their engagement in learning through a hands-on experience that will encourage learning through physical and digital creation.

My Project

Lego Education sets will make a difference in my students' learning by helping them to follow instructions, decipher order, understand quantity, symmetry, patterns, and location of the bricks. These sets will also help my students to develop their mathematical skills and spatial awareness. Finally, these sets will encourage my students to develop creative problem solving skills.

My goal for this project is for my students to use the Lego Education sets to collaborate, plan, design, build, test, and share ideas to creatively solve problems.

PreK students will benefit from matching colors, shapes, and sizes to duplicate images and create new structures to solve problems. Kindergarten through fifth grade will use the Engineering Design Process, Coding Skills, and Mathematical Skills to creatively solve problems.

These materials will benefit my students because they love to learn through play. Learning through play is an important strategy to promote student engagement, inclusion, and holistic skills development.
