This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My transitional kindergarten students learn by doing. That is why, I want to provide them with more hands-on materials that they can manipulate in our math and science lessons.

The real life skills children develop when they engage in math, science and engineering activities helps them become better problem solvers.

When children discover things on their own they are making sense of the world around them. The discoveries that they make follow them outside of the classroom. That is why I want to provide my students with even more opportunities to learn through investigation and manipulation. The materials I am asking for will aid me with this goal.
