My students are amazing! Every day these kids over come hardships and realities that are impossible for many of us to even consider, yet day after day they come to school, work hard, and strive to be the best bulldogs they can be.
I see every kid in my school and they are all unique!
Each and everyone of them has a spark and they want to learn and they want to make their teachers and families proud. These Bulldogs will change the world if only given the opportunity to explore all the possibilities available to them outside these school walls.
My Project
I am always encouraging my students to realize that there is more to their world. I want them to understand that they can be anything there are no limitations on their potential. I try and express this through many STEAM activities in the library. I have found that my students shine when they are building/engineering.
With the limited resources I have they have built towers, bridges, they sky has really been their only limit.
These resources, especially the Keva Planks and the magnetic building blocks will allow them to really shine and to express their creativity. I believe that once they see the amazing things they have done with simple building tools and maze designs they will realize that they really can do anything as long as they work hard and are not afraid to fail.
