Engineering Design Process

Help me give my students an opportunity to use the engineering design process and to have ample supplies for creating. We also need rechargeable batteries to be able to use the micro bits when they are not connected.

My Project

With these supplies we will be using the engineering design process. I see almost every grade level at the school and there are four classes in each grade so I use lots of supplies. The students love hands-on learning. We will be learning about the advancements of tennis shoes and designing and creating them out of cardboard. We will also learn about bridges and build craft stick bridges, and learn about Earth Day and what can be created with recyclable items.

We also use the rechargeable batteries to be able to connect the micro bit when they are not plugged into the computer.

We use a step counter after coding our program and the students walk around and count their steps.
