Engineering Creativity: Engaging Middle School Minds with LEGO
Help me give my students LEGO kits that turn STEM learning into hands-on, collaborative challenges they'll never forget.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. R's classroom raised $358

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Middle school is a crucial time when students are developing critical thinking, collaboration, and real-world problem-solving skills. To support this growth, I want to bring LEGO-based learning into my classroom.
LEGO kits provide an exciting and tangible way to engage students in engineering, physics, math, and design.
With your help, I can create a space where students work together to solve challenges, build structures, and explore the fundamentals of STEM through hands-on projects.
These LEGO kits will be used in a variety of ways:
Engineering design challenges (e.g., build a bridge that can hold weight)
Physics lessons on force, motion, and balance
Creative prototyping for problem-based learning units
Team-building activities that support collaboration and communication
For many students, learning with their hands helps ideas “click.” With LEGOs, abstract concepts become something they can physically build, test, and improve — just like real engineers.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
