it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Using markers on a dry-erase surface helps students model abstract concepts and encourages them to show their thinking process. This shared thinking facilitates collaboration and helps develop critical thinking skills by engaging students in active participation.
Students can sketch, share and develop ideas while solving mathematical problems.
Many students know and understand more than what they can represent. As students expand and clarify their thinking process, they can question each other’s thoughts and approaches to solving the problem. This practice encourages them to build on one another’s ideas by making new connections and offering corrections. Such collaborative efforts help students express their thoughts and work together towards a final written solution.
