Engineering and Design of Eco-Friendly Hydroponics/Compost System - Pt.2
Help me give my students an opportunity to build a better future through sustainability in 3D printing.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Lober's classroom raised $774

My Project
To continue in our venture of creating a hydroponics system accessible to our school and neighborhood, we need additional pieces and parts of 3D printers in order to do so.
When I enter our school, I often desire to improve the gardens that surround the perimeter of the school.
As a school that strives to make our students college and career-ready upon their graduation, what better way to give them employable skills than by curating, planting, and caring for various hydroponic systems available around the school?
As part of our Carbon-Neutral Goals and Sustainability-Centered Curriculum, we are striving to educate the students on how to build and maintain a hydroponics system for themselves and the community surrounding us.
With classes all day filled with hands-on and visual learners, what better way to teach the plant unit than by implementing a hands-on unit that entails planting and caring for hydroponics and compost systems?
In order to tend to our compost and hydroponic systems as community service, we need a 3D printer that can help us print smaller pieces for putting together and fixing various components of our hydroponics and compost systems.
When building, we want to educate our students on how to implement 3D printing in designing and engineering sustainable gardens.
