Engaging Young Learners Through Captivating Books and Activities
Help me give my students a classroom book display shelf as well as materials and supplies to help meet their individualized education program goals and objectives.
Our school is an incredible community filled with smiling and happy students, teachers, and families. Our goal is to help each child reach his or her highest potential. To do this, we stress rigorous and engaging academic instruction while making sure to help students grow socially and emotionally.
We expect students to model respectful behavior at all times.
Our school motto is: "say YES to Respect!" The YES stands for: Respect Yourself, Respect Each Other, Respect Your School. Our students do an incredible job saying YES to respect and we are very proud of them.
This year, I have the honor of working with a diverse group of kindergarten, first, and fourth grade students who are energetic and inquisitive learners. Each one of my students enters the classroom enthusiastic and excited to learn, despite any learning difficulties he or she may have.
This project will allow me to purchase the materials I need in order to ensure my students have the best educational experience possible.
My Project
A classroom book display shelf will add excitement to our classroom and expose students to books and genres they might not normally pick up or read on their own.
This project also includes materials that will allow me to create personalized and meaningful activities and lessons to help promote student learning and engagement.
In addition to learning the grade-level curriculum, my students also have individual goals and objectives they are working on in my classroom. The activities in my cart were specifically chosen as they target these goals and objectives. Having these activities on hand in my classrooms means I can provide my students with the opportunity to practice these concepts daily to promote mastery.
Supplying my students with individualized activities will also foster a sense of competence and promote autonomy in my classroom. Furthermore, the activities will be laminated to help prevent wear and tear so students can use them for years to come.
