My Project

In first grade, we create many anchor charts. These anchor charts serve many purposes, including providing new information to students, serving as a reminder and reference tool, and further engaging students in their learning. By creating interactive anchor charts, students are able to directly connect to stories and content, increasing the chance they remember the information.

While my class loves to make our anchor charts together as we learn, we need some supplies in order to continue to do so this school year.

The chart pads, Mr Sketch, and sharpie flip chart markers are used directly in the anchor chart creation. The tack-it helps these charts still be hung up and moved as necessary, even after they are laminated. Post it notes are a great way for students to contribute directly to the anchor charts and the information they hold.
