I teach elementary age students in a Multiple Disability Support classroom at a public special needs school. My students have a wide range of abilities and are equally in need of special supports to meet their potential. The materials, resources, and games that meet their needs are very costly. More than half of my students are from low-income households. We are in need of classroom materials and games that support and enrich the learning environment.
Your donation will help buy math games and manipulatives, leveled reader book sets, social skills games and tools, and classroom supplies!
With your help, these materials will enhance learning and help each student reach their potential!
Instructional based games are a great way for students to be engaged and connect with their learning. They are motivating and make it possible for all of my students to participate, even with their wide range of abilities. They are eager to participate, cheer for each other when they get it right, and provide support for each other when they struggle. It is a wonderful learning and social skills experience!
My main goal is for all students to feel supported, loved, and comfortable making and learning from mistakes.
It is essential for students to feel that learning is accessible for them. I shape all instruction to meet the students at their own learning level and coach them toward mastering each skill. In order to do this, I need engaging STEM math games and leveled reader book sets for the students to connect to the concepts taught.
These math games and manipulatives, leveled reading books, and social skills tools will make learning more accessible to all and way more fun!
